What is included in the £10 monthly membership?
Membership includes a Premium Business Listing in the
Skills 2 Grow Business Directory, access to the business
community, opportunities to ask for advice and
recommendations, member support and use of the Trusted
Business badge following approval.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Membership is charged monthly and can be cancelled anytime without reason or notice.
Your directory listing, community access and permission
to use the membership badge will end when your membership
ends.
Does every member receive the Trusted Business badge?
The badge is supplied to approved businesses. Skills 2
Grow may review applications and can withdraw permission
to use the badge where a business no longer meets the
membership requirements or ends its membership.
Can members recommend one another?
Yes. Members can build relationships and recommend
businesses they genuinely trust. Recommendations should
always be honest and based on genuine knowledge or
experience.
Does membership guarantee customer reviews?
No. Skills 2 Grow does not guarantee reviews. Members can
learn from one another and share ethical ways to improve
customer service and encourage genuine feedback from
real customers.
Are workshops included in the monthly price?
Members will receive access to information about eligible
Skills 2 Grow workshops. Some workshops may be included,
discounted or separately priced. Full details will always
be provided before booking.
Is the workshop certificate a formal qualification?
No. The Skills 2 Grow Business Workshop Certificate
recognises participation and successful completion of an
eligible workshop. It should not be described as a
regulated or Ofqual-approved qualification unless this is
specifically stated for a separate programme.
Can any type of business join?
Membership is open to many different types of legitimate
businesses, including sole traders, freelancers,
start-ups and established companies. Applications may be
reviewed to protect the quality and reputation of the
community.
